Area hockey notebook: Young goalies get start in big game
With Edward Little and Thornton Academy both having veteran senior goalies on the roster, coaches Norm Gagne and Jamie Gagnon gave their younger goalies the nod in Wednesday’s matchup. Eliza Beaudin ready to transition to coaching after leading Elmira College to Frozen Four
The Lewiston native and Hebron Academy graduate reached the D-III women’s hockey final four and was a national award finalist. Next year, she will coach and teach at a prep school in Connecticut.
