The budget will go to a referendum vote May 19.

The proposed spending plan for the upcoming school year would be a 7.31% increase, primarily due to the addition of new staff members, as well as rising costs related to wages, benefits and fuel. 

The budget in its current form would lead to an increase of 3.80% in local taxes.
