Unifying Dixfield’s middle school students by playing basketball
Students at TW Kelly Dirigo Middle School began practicing for their Unified Basketball games last week. The coed program got started this year with a $2,000 grant from Special Olympics of Maine. In the program, students are partnered with special needs students interested in playing the game and together they’ll compete in four games in March against students at Mountain Valley Middle School in Mexico.
