Learning to properly install a child’s car seat
Maine Bureau of Highway Safety sponsored a free two-hour event at the 290 Highland Terrace, where parents and caregivers learned how to properly install their child’s car seat and have their seat checked by certified child passenger safety technicians.

Earlier in the week, Treat Memorial Library held a glow-in-the-dark paint night on Oct. 24, setting the stage for the upcoming Halloween party planned for Oct. 30. Several Halloween events in Fayette brought early holiday excitement to families on Oct. 26. Starling Hall hosted a trunk-or-treat with a spooky twist, featuring a “mad scientist laboratory” in the basement, while Fayette Central School joined in with a haunted bus, additional trunk-or-treat activities, and indoor games and snacks.
