NORWAY — The Age of Aquarius Gala will be held Friday, Nov. 5, at the Cottage Street Creative Exchange, 13 Cottage St.
This evening of 1960s-inspired food and entertainment will help support the exchange’s 2017 programming.
When the doors open at 6 p.m., there will be free hula-hooping with Hoops and Loops, the Nevaeh Dance Co. and the Cottage Street Crew.
Board President Shellie Leger will address attendees, then Sarah McIntyre Nobles of Hoops and Loops will open the formal entertainment with a call to the four directions.
Nevaeh Dance Co., the Cottage Street Crew and the Art Moves Dance Ensemble will each perform originally choreographed work, and troubadour Brad Hooper will sling some original tunes.
Around 8 p.m., judging will begin for the 1960s Icon Costume Contest.
Then Black Cat Road will kick it into high gear for an all-out dance party that will start as soon as the costume contest and silent auction winners are announced.
Tickets are $25 and can be purchased at Books N Things in Norway or by clicking the “Project” link at www.artmovesdance.com.
