Indoor yard sales at Legion
PARIS — The South Paris American Legion Post 72, Church Street, will hold indoor yard sales from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 7.
A lunch counter will be open, there will be a 50/50 raffle and raffle baskets. Proceeds will help the ladies Auxiliary send three students to Girls State.
Oxford Hills Duplicate Bridge
OXFORD — Oxford Hills Duplicate Bridge Club met Feb. 27. A 6 1/2-table Howell movement was enjoyed.
Finishing first in flight A were Dotty Kelleher (Westbrook) and Paul Kahl (Westbrook), second were Sherrie Hinkley (Augusta) and John Hackett (Oxford), third were Norma and Rick Verrill (Gorham) who also were first in flight B, fourth in A were Marta Clements (Woodstock) and Mike Newsom (Paris) who also were second in flight B, third in flight B were Claire Lyons (Lewiston) and Paul Mitnik (Vassalboro), fourth were Milt McKeen (Bridgton) and Jim Krainin (Naples) who also were first in flight C, second in flight C were Diane and Jim Fallon (Bridgton), third were B.J. and Steve Cavicchi (Bridgton), fourth were Cathy Sanderson (Waterford) and Carol Curran (Waterford).
Games are held every Friday at 9:15 a.m. in the Rec Building on King Street. A partner is guaranteed. All bridge players are invited. For information, call Les Buzzell at 783-4153 or 754-9153 or email buzz116@myfairpoint.net.
