Joe Murray of Lewiston visited local businesses, including the Sun Journal, on St. Patrick’s Day on Tuesday. Murray, who is half Irish from his father’s side of the family, visited his daughter, Laura, at the credit union where she works and his son, Andy, at Infab in Lewiston. “It’s fun,” said the 82-year-old Murray. He and his wife, Frances, made a tradition of dressing up for St. Patrick’s Day before she died in 2012. Murray has carried on the tradition. Murray said the last business he would visit on Tuesday would be the Gridiron for lunch. Boiled dinners and green beer were being served, he said. “I only drink about a half a beer because I’m driving,” Murray said.
