WATERFORD — The Waterford Congregational Church has scheduled events for Easter week.
Palm Sunday: An interactive service will be held depicting the Passion Story according to Mark at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday, March 29.
Maundy Thursday: Waterford and North Waterford Congregational churches will hold a Service of Tenebrae with the Sacrament of Holy Communion at the Waterford Church at 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 2.
Easter Sunday: The Waterford, North Waterford,and Harrison churches will conduct a Sunrise Service at 6 a.m. on Sunday, April 5, at Keoka Town Beach with the Rev. Petra Smyth and the Rev. Franklin Anderson officiating. Following the Sunrise Service, an Easter breakfast will be served at the Wilkins House beside the Waterford Congregational Church. At 9:30 a.m., the Easter Sunday Service will be held at the church.
