Eastgate Christian Academy’s recent graduating class is shown here with the honorary recipients of their yearbook.

The class, which began their senior year huddled together in the school’s sound room watching the events of 9/11 unfold, were compelled to offer the introductory page of their book to ECA’S school family “heroes.”

For the first time in the school’s history, the dedication ceremony took place during the commencement exercises on June 1. To the standing ovation of the audience, each of the honored guests came forward to receive a copy of the yearbook and the thanks of each class member-who vowed, “never to forget.”
