In order to keep school spirit on the rise, the administration at ELHS encouraged its students to wear their Halloween costumes to school on October 31.

Many took part in the School Spirit Day; EL was crawling with scary masks, crazy hair, and colorful costumes. Faculty also joined in, among them, Asst. Principals Steve Galway as “Uncle Fester” and Dan Deshaies as “Eddie Munster;” and math teacher Mary Beth Galway as “an awesome 80s gal,” just to name a few.

Art teacher Steve Amoroso was the talk of the school as he was transformed into “Dr.Evil.” The main office staff took part in the festivities by offering candy to anyone in costume, and the five secretaries all dressed as pumpkins.

All in all the day was a success and will, hopefully, add to the EL traditions for years to come.
