When I picked up the newspaper on Jan. 31, my memory was really jogged.
Richard E. Reid was sentenced for trying to blow up a plane from Paris to Florida. They landed in Boston after discovering his plan on Dec. 22, 2001.
I was recovering from knee replacement surgery at CMMC. I watched the special news report. Shortly after that a nurse came in for vital signs. I’ve always had low blood pressure, but the reading went off the scale thanks to Richard E. Reid.
I recovered from both the knee surgery and the blood pressure flare up.
I hate to admit we have people like that loose in the U.S.A.
