The Bush administration has raised the national security alert to the next highest level. The attorney general says terrorists might seek “”economic targets, including the transportation and energy sectors, as well as symbolic targets and symbols of American power.”” Ashcroft also says that some lightly secured targets could be vulnerable, such as apartment buildings and hotels.

I am concerned about the lack of security details for our schools. Parents need to know that their children will be safe and what is being done to prevent a terrible tragedy such as a terrorist attack on our children at school.

What is being done to make sure our schools are safe from terrorists? What can we do to protect our children?

If our government is going to wage war, it needs to take all possible targets into consideration, especially our children.
