Due to the recent discovery of Elizabeth Smart I think that the Amber Alert System is such a wonderful idea.
Putting missing children’s pictures and information on TV, radio and highway message signs as quickly as possible has already saved at least 42 children in the United States. Only 39 states have the Amber alert and I don’t understand why all 50 states don’t have this in place.
I am very proud to say that Maine has the Amber Alert System and I would love to see all 50 states have this in place as soon as possible.
