Why do so many people believe that you can’t oppose the war and support the troops at the same time?

I, like many others, am opposed to war. It seems that some people believe that my opposition to war means that I do not support our troops. That could not be further from the truth.

Our troops are doing the honorable thing, serving their country when they have been called to do so. They deserve every respect.

I only wish that our government’s reasons for invading, disarming, liberating (or whatever it is calling it today), were as honorable.
