NORWAY – Christ Episcopal Church has started opening its doors from noon to 12:30 p.m. daily for people to have a quiet place to come in and pray.

The Rev. Anne Stanley said the church would be open to those of any denomination at noontime for as long as the Iraqi War continues.

“There will be no spoken words, or music,” Stanley said. “There will be no liturgy of any sort, just a prayer place – a place to come to pray and meditate.”

The church is located at 35 Paris St.

Stanley said there would be church representatives present while the building is open.
