I am writing in response to the article on March 26 on the mine-sniffing dolphins.
I thought that the article about the bottle-nosed Atlantic dolphins was very interesting.
I believe that the commanders of this operation were quite resourceful and inventive to come up with an idea to train dolphins to locate mines. I think it is great that these dolphins are helping our forces find mines so that they can be dismantled.
This way we can get into the port at Umm Qasr to deliver humanitarian aid to southern Iraq.
