Why must we fight? I am all about peace, not war.

I definitely honor our troops, for they are putting their lives on the line for each and every one of us. I give them all my respect for that.

I think President Bush is doing a lousy job as president. I know that I will not vote for him again because it seems to me that he is all for this war.

I see it in the newspaper, on T.V., and I hear bits and pieces pertaining to Bush and his “support” for this war. We need to support our troops, not support the war.

The truth of the matter is we are living today and the war is unfortunately present also. For how long, only God knows.

I do hope that in the end everything will work out for the best. My biggest fear is the biochemical weapons that Iraq has to offer.

Barbara Berquist from Rumford made an important point concerning biochemical weapons and her fear that Saddam as waiting for us to close in before using them (April 1). It is true, Iraq does have these weapons and I pray this does not happen.

Doesn’t President Bush realize this? What is his next plan if this becomes true?

My support goes out to all our troops, their families and all our U.S. citizens.
