BETHEL – At their 7:30 p.m. meeting Monday, April 14, at Telstar library, SAD 44’s School Board plans to begin reviewing preliminary budget data.

Additional agenda action topics involve:

• Western Maine Senior College bylaws.

• The proposed 2003-04 school calendar.

• A revised Region 9 Adult Education funding formula.

• Proposed job descriptions for the positions of curriculum director and alternative education instructor.

Superintendent David Murphy is slated to provide updates on the Telstar Alternative Middle School and grants, and a summary of parent input about elementary school recess.

Recently elected directors Sidney Pew of Andover, Gerald Broomhall of Greenwood, William Brown and Kathi Schandelmeier of Newry, and Philip Korhonen of Woodstock are slated to take their oath of office.

Prior to the meeting, the Finance Committee and Personnel Committee, respectively, will meet at 7 and 7:15 p.m. in the library.
