FARMINGTON – Four Franklin County men were indicted Tuesday by a grand jury on sex-related charges.

Daniel Vigue, 24, of Farmington was indicted on three counts of gross sexual assault and four counts of unlawful sexual contact. Vigue was accused of sexually assaulting a 13-year-old Franklin County girl in late March. State Police Detective Mark Lopez arrested Vigue on March 31.

Jason Fickett, 41, of Carthage was indicted on one count of unlawful sexual contact for an alleged incident in January. Sheriff’s Detective David St. Laurent arrested Fickett in March after a two-week investigation.

A 25-year-old woman had reported the unlawful contact March 6. The woman, who had been staying at Fickett’s family home, accused him of trying to force himself on her on Jan. 20.

Peter Buzzell, 48, of Farmington was indicted on 10 counts of unlawful sexual contact with a girl under age 14. The incidents are alleged to have occurred between March 5, 1990, and March 5, 1996.

Lopez arrested Buzzell in January. The female victim, now 16, came forward in December to accuse the former police officer of unlawful sexual contact. Buzzell had worked as Farmington police officer and a Franklin County deputy 10 years ago.

Randall Howard, 44, of Strong was indicted on four counts of unlawful sexual contact. Howard is accused of having sexual contact with a Franklin County girl under 14 years old, between Jan. 21, 1997, and Dec. 21, 2002.
