BETHEL – The Mahoosuc Land Trust’s Local Knowledge series program Wednesday, April 16, should be a hoot.
Starting at 7 p.m. in Bingham Auditorium at Gould Academy, a Chewonki Foundation educator will present “Owls of Maine,” as the trust’s fourth and final program this season.
“Our live barred owl, great horned owl and screech owl are the highlights of this program, which introduces participants to these native birds of Maine and New England,” said Chris Coleman, assistant director of Chewonki’s Outreach Program.
Coleman will present the program, which is open to the public at no charge.
“We offer an intimate and detailed look at owls, bringing these creatures of the night into the light,” Coleman added.
