I want to comment on Brian Mello’s letter of April 5.
He said he has not heard a thing about the Islamic community giving any support at all in your paper or any public place about our troops in a Muslim country where we are now fighting. I am a little upset myself about this, too.
I think by this time at least one out of 1,000 or more would have said something since they are so quick to speak their minds on other matters.
If they can’t say thank you in some way it makes me wonder if they came here for political asylum or for the land of the free – especially all the “free” we have in Lewiston and Auburn.
