LEWISTON – Lewiston Emblem Club 528 installed a slate of officers for the year on March 28 at the Lewiston Lodge of Elks.

The event was attended by dignitaries from across the state. Past Supreme Emblem President Dorothy MacKenzie and Supreme Marshal Dorothy Cardelli, both of the Brunswick Emblem Club, officiated.

Installed as officers were: president, Sonia Woodrum; vice president, Kathleen Cotterly; junior past president, Jackie Asselin; financial secretary, Annie McInnis; treasurer, Connie Lambert; recording secretary, Jackie Asselin; corresponding secretary, Doris Surette; press correspondent, Wayne Cotterly; historian.

Also, Addie Landry; first trustee, Bert Strong; second trustee, Loula Ouellette; third trustee, Rodney Woodrum; marshal, Fran St. Pierre; first assistant-marshal, Anita Deschenes; second assistant- marshal, Rodney Woodrum; chaplain, Blanche Bouvier; first guard, Muriel Strong; and organist, Connie Lambert.

The Emblem Club is the auxiliary for the Lewiston Lodge of Elks 371 and supports the community through charitable programs, as well as drug awareness, literacy, Americanism and scholarships.
