AUBURN — Advocates for Children will present the 12th annual Parenting Matters Conference, “Building on Our Personal Strengths as Parents,” from 8:30 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. at Central Maine Technical College.

Keynote speaker will be Naomi Haines Griffith, MA, MSW, an author who uses humor and her own experiences to challenge and inspire audiences. “Building on Our Personal Strengths as Parents” will discuss the need for parents to recognize their importance in their children’s lives and how to use these natural and individual relationships successfully.
