PARIS – The Snow Hoppers Snowmobile Club will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 22, at the C.N. Brown Conference Room in South Paris. OXFORD – The Oxford Historical Society will meet at 7 p.m. Friday, April 25, at the Kay House, Pleasant Street. Doreen McAlister Bartlett will present a program on the life and times of Mattie McAlister Ordway, who was a long-time resident of Oxford. The public is invited.

Band concert

BETHEL – The Mahoosuc Community Band will give its annual spring concert at 7 p.m. Monday, April 28, at the West Parish Congregational Church on Church Street. The concert is dedicated to the late conductor Ernie Downs.

DARE for parents

PARIS – The Paris Police Department will host an informational drug abuse resistance education parent night from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Monday, May 5, in the Forum at Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School.
