The Sun Journal has done a superb job of presenting a multitude of opinions on the military-industrial complex, under whatever guise it operates.
The column by Dr. Henry Miller sent shivers down my spine, evoking as it does the era when concern for the environment was considered to be about the icing on the cake of human progress (April 14). I hoped we had accepted that concern for the environment is the cake and that humankind ignores it at our peril.
When you print such an extreme view, I would find helpful not only the institution with which the author is connected but some sense of that institution’s reputation.
Is the Hoover Institution in Washington, D.C., a far right “think tank”?
In this case the Internet was not helpful and I would appreciate having that information.
