OAKLAND – Corey Saunders hit two doubles to lead Oxford Hills to an 11-4 victory over Messalonskee in baseball action Monday afternoon.

Brent Grenier chipped in with three hits, including a double, and drove in a pair of runs. Garrett Olson also ripped a double. Kevin Skalski and Joe Baker added two hits each for the Vikings (4-0). Baker and Corey Tielinen split time on the mound combining for eight strikeouts.

The Eagles (1-4) were led by Matt Gilbert with three hits, including a double, while Justin Parker and Randen Baker had two hits apiece.

Mt. Blue 6, Morse 0

BATH – Brian Wells hit a two-run double in the sixth inning to cement Mt. Blue’s 6-0 triumph over Morse Monday afternoon.

Jason Shaw hit three singles, had an RBI, and scored once to assist the Cougars (2-2).

Justin Tibbett threw a five-hitter, striking out 13 batters and walking none to improve his record to 2-0.

Anthony Ames was tagged with the loss for the Shipbuilders (0-3).
