TURNER – Sam St. Hilaire tossed a no-hitter and fanned five en route to her fourth consecutive shutout as Leavitt rolled to a dominating 10-0 triumph over Waterville Monday.
Kristen Healy drilled a triple and had three RBIs, while Alanna Leonard had a double and two RBIs for the Hornets(4-0). St. Hilaire chipped in with two hits. Every Leavitt starter had at least one hit.
The lone base runner for Waterville (1-3) reached on Leavitt’s only error.
Oak Hill 7, Winslow 0
WALES – Danielle Sargent fired a two-hitter and struck out nine batters to lead Oak Hill to a 7-0 win over Winslow in softball action Monday afternoon.
Sargent consistently threw strikes, allowing one walk. Sargent helped her own cause at the plate by slugging a double and a triple for two RBIs for the Raiders (2-1).
Emily Grondin also hit a triple and went 2-for-3 on the day, while Kandi Ames pounde dout three hits, including a double.
Amanda Roy led Winslow (1-2) with a double, while pitcher Ashley Denis recorded seven K’s.
Lewiston 10, Cheverus 0
PORTLAND – Allison Coleman drove in two runs with a pair of doubles as Lewiston rolled past Cheverus 10-0.
Katie Morin had two hits and three RBIs, while Shannon Godin also had two hits and two RBIs. Kim Bechard chipped in with two singles for the Blue Devils (2-0). Amanda Michaud gave up two hits in seven innings for her first varsity win.
Karie Braddbury and Sierra Thibeault had the only hits for the Stags (0-2).
Livermore Falls 6, Dirigo 3
LIVERMORE FALLS – Danielle Gray struck out 11 batters to lead Livermore Falls to a 6-3 win over Dirigo in softball action Monday afternoon.
All five of the Andies’ hits and runs came in the third and fourth innings. Freshman Taryn Flagg had two RBI singles in both innings, and Jenn Smith scored twice. Krista Allen hit an RBI double in the fourth inning to cement the contest for the Andies (1-1).
Angie Fenstermacher had one hit and recorded the loss on the mound for Dirigo (0-1). Jessica Blaisdell had two of the three runs for the Cougars effort.
Messalonskee 12, Ox. Hills 0
OAKLAND – Claire Pepper fired a no-hitter and struck out 11 batters for her fourth win to lead Messalonskee to a 12-0 victory over Oxford Hills Monday.
The game went only five innings, and Pepper dominated throughout. Jess Davis was the only repeat hitter for the Eagles (4-0).
Oxford Hills (2-2) had only one person on base all game and it was by a Messalonskee error.
