NORWAY – Mary Elizabeth Thurston, 83, of Norway, died Monday, April 21, at Norway Rehabilitation and Living Center.
Born in Otisfield, July 9, 1919, the daughter of Claude H. and Sarah Freeman Thomas, she graduated from Norway High School.
She had been employed at A.C. Lawrence and B.E. Cole as an office worker and retired from C.B. Cummings. She was a member of the South Paris Baptist Church.
Survivors include many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was predeceased by a sister, Marion Whittier and four brothers, Ralph Thomas, Sr., Lester Thomas, Robert Thomas, Sr. and Jesse Thomas.
