TOPSHAM – Lindsey Piirainen tripled, singled and drove in two runs to lead Oxford Hills past Mount Ararat 8-1 in KVAC softball Friday.
Randi Arsenault pitched the complete game for the Vikings (4-2), allowing 10 hits. Jessie Gamrat collected three hits and Sarah Soper added a pair for the Eagles (0-5).
Dirigo 7, Telstar 5
DIXFIELD – Angie Fenstermacher and Monique Crawford homered and Fenstermacher allowed only five hits to direct Dirigo to a 7-5 MVC win over Telstar.
Sheena Weston slapped a pair of hits for the Cougars (2-1). Ashley Stambolis cracked a double for the Rebels (1-1), who fell behind 7-0 before rallying for four runs in the fifth and another in the seventh.
Belfast 6, Oak Hill 5
WALES – Belfast scored six times in the fifth inning and held on to defeat Oak Hill, 6-5, in KVAC softball action Friday.
Sam Ellis and Danielle Mayer collected two hits apiece and drove in a run each in the sixth as Belfast (4-1) rallied from a 2-0 deficit.
Oak Hill (3-2) scored three in the sixth to pull within a run, but Morgan Crandall shut the door to preserve the win. Danielle Sargent took the loss for the Raiders.
Lena Dietrich led Oak Hill with two hits and two RBIs.
Madison 12, Mt. Abram 3
SALEM – Madison scored four runs in the top of the first and added four more in the fourth as the Bulldogs ran away from Madison 12-3 in MVC action.
Alex Solomon homered for the Bulldogs (2-0), and Rachel King went 3-for-4 to back up winning pitcher Cassidy Brann.
Whitney Fahy paced the Roadrunners with three hits. Sadie White added two, and Sara Martin rapped a double.
Fryeburg 12, Hebron 0
FRYEBURG – Bryane Hennseey tossed a no-hitter to stake Fryeburg to a 12-0 win over Hebron.
Hennessy struck out seven in the five-inning gem. Merrell Reeves tripled for the Raiders.

Kents Hill 9, Hebron 6
KENTS HILL – Stephanie Tewksbury scored four goals to power Kents Hill past Hebron 9-6 in girls’ lacrosse.
Six different players scored for Hebron.
Scottie Helm made 16 saves in goal in a losing effort.
