NORWAY – Officers were elected at a recent meeting of the Stone-Smart American, American Legion Auxiliary.

No names were presented for president or first vice president. Other officers elected were second vice president, Donna Pike; secretary, Joyce Clifford; treasurer, Rose Moulton; Sgt. at Arms, Christine Weiss; chaplain, Theresa Dodge; historian, Barbara Henley. Installation will be at the May meeting.

Girl State delegates were picked. Savannah Sessions, Baily Hallowell and Kristi Dugas will be delegates. Alternates are, Chelsea Brown, Soforna Governale and Jamie Jones.

Delegates chosen to go to the department convention in June are Lucille Allen, Joyce Clifford, Elaine Rogers and Marjy Sessions. Alternates are Marion Millett, Pat Tibbitts. Theresa Dodge and Joyce Bickford.

Donations were made to Raymond McGregor, who will be attending competition for DECA this spring. He is the grandson of of the late Raymond Stone, past commander of the post and Arlene Stone, past unit president. Money was also approved for the American Cancer Society and to the Legion baseball team.

Those qualifying for certificates for continuous membership were: five years, Margaret Ames, Sharon Goforth and Christine Weiss, Kathleen Holden, Evelyn Marshall, Marguerite Riley, Elizabeth Snow, Joanna Snow; 10 years, Evelyn Prevost, Jeanne Whitermore; 15 years, Joyce Clifford, Doris Hunt and Eleanor Blair; 20 years, Marilyn Jones, Wanda Ryerson, Bernice Robbins; 25 years, Frances Pushard, Stephanie Jack and Marlene Ferry; 35 years, Linda Jack; 50 years,
