BETHEL – The Oxford Hills Chapter of the Service Corps of Retired Executives has scheduled workshops in business planning for business start-ups during April and May at Telstar High School, 284 Walkers Mill Road, Bethel.

It is under the auspices of the SAD 44 Adult Education Program. Workshops will be held on successive Wednesdays from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in Room 109.

The schedule is: Cash Flow Projection, April 30; and Financing a Small Business, May 7.

The workshops will be presented by members of SCORE and the Small Business Development Center/AVCOG. Workshop content has been structured to provide valuable information and assistance in writing a business plan, basic market research, projecting cash flow and obtaining financing for a new business.

The fee is $45 and includes participation by one business partner or spouse.
