1925 – 2003

LEWISTON – Simonne C. Lemieux, 77, of 102 Campus Ave., Lewiston died Tuesday, April 29, at d’Youville Pavilion following a long illness.

She was born in Lewiston on Dec. 1, 1925, the daughter of Omer and Veronica (Raymond) Labrie. She was educated in Auburn schools. She was employed as a cloth inspector at Hill Mill as a young women later becoming a homemaker. On June 30, 1951 she married Rosaire Lemieux and he died on Oct. 7, 1990. Her main interest was her family.

She is survived by one daughter, Jacqueline Brayton of Newmarket, NH.; three sisters, Therese and her husband Roland Deschenes, Irene Delorme and her husband Fernand and Florence Raymond and her husband Bertrand all of Auburn; two brothers, Robert Labrie and his wife Therese and Raymond Labrie and his wife Judy both of Auburn.
