1920 – 2003
RUMFORD – Maxine C. Arsenault, 82, died Wednesday April 30, at the Rumford Community Home. She was formerly of Wyman Hill Road in Rumford.
Born in Rumford, on July 13, 1920, she was the daughter of Bert T. and Anna (Colburn) Holmquist. She attended Rumford schools. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, knitting and crocheting. She was married on Jan. 8, 1946 to the late Joseph Peter Arsenault.
She is survived by a daughter, Katherine Nickerson and her companion James Boule of Salisbury, Mass.; three granddaughters, Kristine Marie Boothby of King, N.C., Kelli Perry of Sheds, N.Y., and Kimberly Spooner of Salisbury, Mass.; one grandson, Karl Spooner of Syracuse, N.Y.; 12 great-grandchildren; one sister, Katherine Englehart and her husband Edward of Rumford; two brothers, Clifford Holmquist and his wife Georgette of Mexico and Bert Holmquist and his wife Dot of Peru.
She was predeceased by a brother, Ernest; and two sisters, Carrie and Eunice.
