AUBURN – Central Maine Technical College will offer a Land Desktop R3 workshop from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday, May 16 and 17. at CMTC. The workshop, facilitated in a hands-on environment, will provide the essentials for participants to effectively use Land Desktop R3.
Workshop topics include Prototypes, Labels, Digital Terrain Modeling, Templates, Menu Palettes and Parcels. The cost is $395, which includes materials, 1.6 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) and a certificate of completion.
The instructor is Gary Rosen, president of Electric Pelican Ink CADD Consulting Services in New Hampshire. He has been using Autodesk/Softdesk products for the last 15 years and is an Autodesk authorized consultant.
The college will offer an ISO 9001:2000 workshop from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Friday May 16. The workshop will be conducted by RAB accredited auditor Michael Fernald, who will provide participants with a hands-on practical understanding of the internal auditing process and the requirements of the ISO 9001:2000 Standard.
The workshop is designed to provide an overview of the internal ISO 9001:2000 auditing process, including the types of audits, terminology, system definitions, required documentation and practical exercises to prepare for the audit procedure. Upon completion participants will have the skills to plan, prepare, conduct, summarize and report on an internal audit.
The cost of $195 includes materials, .8 Continuing Education Units, certificate of completion and lunch.
