LEWISTON – World travelers Dan Geiger and his wife, Diana, will be honored by the recipients of his colorful e-mail stories of the peoples and places they have visited for the past 15 months where they spread their message for world peace based on their belief in the world religion, the Baha’i Faith.

They will be in Maine to visit family before returning to their home in Montana. The couple will meet and greet people at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, May 10, at a reception at the home of Pat Schnitzer in Lewiston.

Providing readings will be Joel Goodman, puppetry by Pat Latham, music by Lucy Smith, hospitality by Nathan Palmer and Bob Morissette and communications by Shirley d’Ombrian. A Maine theme will be the focus. Welcoming them will be Sen. Peggy Rotundo, representing state and local, writers and travelers.

The Geigers visited the less traveled areas from Borneo, Tasmania, India, Australia, Maylasia, crossing to regions of the Orkney Islands of Scotland and Ireland, before arriving in the USA.
