1929 – 2003

DERBY, Conn. – Warren M. Drury, 74, of Dixfield, passed away Sunday, May 4, at Bransford Hospital following a brief battle with cancer.

Born March 2, 1929, he was the son of Mark and Gladys Lane. He was a 1947 graduate of Dixfield High School and following graduation, served in the U.S. Navy.

On July 31, 1949 he married Laurestine Bradford and they made their home in Dixfield. He was employed by Oxford Paper Co. for 38 years.

Survivors include his three sons, Mark Drury and wife, Terri of Derby, Conn., Stephen Drury and wife, Jude of Canton and Michael Drury of Berlin, N.H.; one brother, Bernard Drury and his wife, Sarah of Dixfield; his grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his wife, Laurestine in 1988.
