WALES – Ashley Medeiros belted a two-run home run in the fourth inning Thursday to lead Oak Hill to a 8-0 KVAC softball win over Camden Hills.
Ashley Lamoreau contributed an RBI double for the Raiders (8-4), while Danielle Sargent picked up the mound win. Caitlin Brown went the distance for Camden Hills, allowing six hits.
St. Dom’s 19, OOB 2
AUBURN – Emily Goss scattered three hits and struck out 11 batters to pace St. Dom’s in a 19-2 WMC romp over Old Orchard Beach.
Audrey Pleau provided offensive support with a triple for the Saints (7-3), while Goss contributed a two-run double.
Lewiston 5, McAuley 3
PORTLAND – Stephanie Lagasse smashed a double and plated a pair of runs to lift Lewiston to a 5-3 SMAA win over Catherine McAuley.
The Blue Devils (9-3) jumped out to a one-run lead in the first on an RBI single by Lagasse, plating Shannon Godin. After spotting the Lions (8-3) three runs in the home half of the frame, Godin silenced McAuley over the next six innings.
Kim Bouchard cracked a two-run single to tie the score in the third, and Lewiston took the lead for good in the fourth when Lagasse’s double knocked home Godin.
Monmouth 21, Boothbay 5
BOOTHBAY HARBOR – Emily Gauthier and Sarah Bubier collected three hits apiece to propel the Mustangs to a 21-5 MVC win over Boothbay.
Chantel Saucier notched her second win of the season for the Mustangs. Monmouth ripped open the game by tallying a combined 10 runs in the sixth and seventh frames.
Leavitt 13, Mt. Blue 2
FARMINGTON – Sam St. Hilaire continued her outstanding season, recording 16 strikeouts to lead Leavitt to a 13-2 KVAC rout of Mt. Blue.
St. Hilaire also went 5-for-5 with four RBIs for the Hornets (13-0). Laura Pratt was 3-for-3 while knocking in a pair, and Gretchen Conn plated four runs.
Brandi Rand pitched only her second varsity game for the Cougars (3-10). Beth Jordan belted a double.
Buckfield 10, Valley 0
BINGHAM – Danielle Buswell scattered two hits in seven innings to lead Buckfield to a 10-0 EWC shutout of Valley.
Mandy Roy and Charlee Hayes provided offensive support for the Bucks (6-2) with a double and single each. Emily Johnson also contributed two hits.
Winthrop 5, Lisbon 2
WINTHROP – Katie Wing pitched a two-hitter, striking our eight, and also singled twice to push Winthrop past Lisbon 5-2 in MVC play.
Jen MacMaster and Mel Burnham each singled twice, doubled and drove in two runs for the Ramblers (5-4), who broke open a tie game with two runs in the third inning. Heather Babb also slapped two singles.
Andrea Piela led off the game with a double for the Greyhounds (2-7).
Oxford Hills 9, Lawrence 1
SOUTH PARIS – Abby Chouinard crushed the ball for three hits to propel Oxford Hills to a 9-1 KVAC win over Lawrence.
The Vikings (7-5) limited Lawrence to one first-inning tally. Jess Lindie had the only extra base hit in the game with a double for the Bulldogs. Randi Arsenault earned the mound win.
Lacrosse
Brunswick 13, Oxford Hills 4
SOUTH PARIS – Kaili Shepherd and Alison Doughty each contributed five goals and two assists to bolster Brunswick to a 13-4 girls’ lacrosse victory over Oxford Hills.
Jenna McCabe also scored twice for the Dragons (8-1). Ashley Dyer, Jaime Proulx, McKayla Bell and Ashley Lewis all found the net for the Vikings (5-3).
