Here we go again. We just recently lost our clothespin, toothpick and some paper factories in Maine, but we will not have anything that will bring in revenue, like gambling.

I say put gambling in Maine, but have good security.

We also need the tax relief, and it will create jobs.

But here is the big one for me: Congress is going to ask for billions of dollars for Iraq to have stability. Meanwhile, the United States is in a very bad way, like we have a very sluggish economy and about $30 billion in the red. President Bush is all gung ho about Iraq’s stability and also Afghanistan.

In the name of God, has the U.S. forgotten Sept. 11, the Pentagon, and all the bombings of our bases and ships overseas? We have spasms of violence all over the world, most of all in the United States.

As a World War II disabled American veteran, here is what I think should be done: We should take every drop of oil from Iraq for our cities that were bombed. We are still being terrorized all over the U.S.
