Growing up is hard to do,

being responsible is what’s best for you.

So many choices and decisions to make,

you have to be careful or you’ll make a mistake.

Peer pressure will haunt you, of this you can be sure,

try to do the right thing, and soon you’ll be mature.

When faced with a problem, and feeling stressed,

look in your heart, and do what’s best.

Making your parents proud, is very important too,

being a good kid, is all you have to do.

On your journey through life, self respect is the key,

also respect others, and be all you can be.
