BRIDGTON – An American Red Cross blood drive will be held from 2 to 7 p.m. Thursday, May 29, at the Masonic Hall on Route 117.

Donors must be at least 18 years of age and in general good health.

WOODSTOCK – The annual Forestdale School benefit garage sale will be held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Sunday, May 30 and June 1, at 22 Sleepy Hollow Rd.

Open house

NORWAY – Hillside Cottages will hold an open house from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, May 31 and June 1. The cottages are located at 279 Harrison Rd. approximately 1.3 miles south of the lake. Hillside Cottages is a new business that offers overnight lodging and accommodations. There will be door prizes.

Bottle drive

OTISFIELD – The young members of the East Otisfield Free Baptist Church will hold a bottle drive from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 31, at the church on Rayville Road. Horse show

OXFORD – The Maine Buckskin Horse Association will hold a horse show beginning at 7:30 a.m. Saturday and Sunday, May 31 and June 1, at the Oxford County Fairgrounds off the Pottle Road. Included in Saturday’s event will be the Maine Barrel Racing Horses competition at 7 p.m. This is their first appearance at Oxford County Fairgrounds, and they are planning to return three more times this summer. The event is free and open to the public. A booth will be open for hamburgers, hot dogs and other refreshments. For more information call Nora Foster at 453-2011.
