1914-2003

AUBURN – Norma E. Clark, 89, a resident of Gamage Avenue, died early Saturday morning at her home.

She was born in Bremen, Maine, April. 29, 1914, the daughter of Jesse and Rhoda Weston McLain. She was educated in Bremen schools. On Nov. 15, 1934, she married Robert M. Clark; he passed away Nov. 11, 1980.

She had been employed for 20 years or more as a housekeeper for Atty. William B. Skelton, and for 25 years or more as a nursing assistant for Androscoggin Home Health Care, retiring in 1987. She was a member of High Street Congregational Church in Auburn. She enjoyed reading and traveling.

She leaves a daughter, Phyllis Barter and her husband, Michael, of Lillian, Ala.; a son, Philip M. Clark of Auburn; a grandson, Andrew Robert Carleton; Jason Libby; and two nephews, Danny Libby and Edgar Schwartz.
