This letter is in regard to Mr. Mark LaFlamme’s “Street Talk” column (May 30).

As manager of Waterfront Flea Market and also as a vendor, I am insulted.

This flea market goes to great lengths to be the best. If you find junk it is because that is what you are looking for.

We carry new items, some unusual treasures, as well as some antiques. All of our aisles are five feet wide and meet fire codes. We are like a family, and we are proud of our flea market.

I will not stoop to your level, call you names and say nasty things about you. However, in this day and age with all the terrorism, it is a bit frightful to think someone was here thinking of mayhem and having arson come to mind.

Mr. LaFlamme needs to stick to crime reporting.

Time to turn the table. Let’s have some positive news print.

We have advertised with this paper for a long time. Everyone has always been very nice and helpful there. I am very surprised that this was allowed to be printed.

We now need to have the truth printed.

Someone from your paper needs to come and do a proper article on us. We have no idea how many people read this negative column, but we feel that everyone needs to come see what we are truly all about.
