So, you think Dirigo can’t happen because the Republicans won’t let it?

Wrong.

This bill is going to pass the Legislature and be signed by the governor despite the Republicans.

Mainers, whether on purpose or out of ignorance, have voted liberal extremists into power. They have an extremist agenda and they will stop at nothing to bring their Utopian ideas to reality.

The fact is, with the willing, liberal-controlled press, liberal extremists of the Democratic Party have managed to control Maine’s media.

Most Mainers haven’t even heard of Dirigo, $1 billion in debt, government-floated bonds in excess of millions of dollars, or even the lost (misplaced) $19 million. Imagine that.

The truth is this: the Republican Party in Maine is chock full of moderates who are incapable of action because a moderate has no personal convictions and has to stick a wet finger in the air to figure out which way the political wind is blowing.

Since liberal extremist Democrats control the political football, moderate Republicans tend to follow them more than the handful of conservatives in their own party.

A good example is Sen. Snowe who, despite being a powerful and influential Republican senator, was one of two who sided with Daschle’s Democrats to try to derail tax cuts to Maine families.

Nationally, Sen. Snowe is not recognized as a Republican, but as a Jim Jeffords in the waiting.

If you don’t know who Jim Jeffords is, therein lies the reason liberal extremists control Maine’s government.
