FARMINGTON – A yard sale will be held from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, June 14, at the Henderson Memorial Baptist Church, Main Street.

Flag Day plans

WEST FARMINGTON – The annual Flag Day observation will be held at 7 p.m. on Saturday, June 14, at the Farmington Elks Lodge, School Street. There will be a formal salute to the flag, with a flag-burning ceremony immediately following by American Legion Post No. 28 of Farmington. Refreshments will follow. Anyone interested is invited, according to the lodge.

Cabral to speak

EAST WILTON – Alfred Cabral will be the special speaker at East Wilton Union Church at 10:45 a.m. on Sunday, June 15 for the worship service as part of Spring Restoration Weekend. He founded Restoration Ministries, is a charter member of the American Association of Christian Counsellors International and is an adjunct teacher at the New Brunswick Bible Institute. His years of ministry have gained him international exposure across Canada, the United States, Central America, Africa, Europe and Bermuda. He will also speak at the adult Sunday school class at 9:30 a.m. Everyone is welcome to attend.
