LEWISTON – Eric Bunford of Greene has been hired by Maine Public Broadcasting as a production assistant.

He will be responsible for assisting producers and production managers in a variety of support functions and tasks associated with Maine Public Broadcasting’s productions.

Bunford holds degrees from the University of Maine at Farmington and the University of Southern Maine in Portland. Prior to his hiring, he taught fifth grade and was the band director for SAD 52 in Turner, Leeds and Greene for 33 years. Bunford has also performed production assistant duties for Maine Public Broadcasting part time for more than 20 years.
