AUBURN – Coldwell Banker Millett Realty was chosen by the city of Auburn to receive the Economic Development Achievers Award presented at the Lewiston Auburn Economic Development Corp.’s annual meeting this month.
Each year the cities of Auburn and Lewiston jointly recognize those businesses, organizations and community leaders who have contributed to the economic well-being of the city. Mayor Norm Guay and the Auburn City Council selected Sharon Millett and Millett Realty to receive one of their awards this year. The award is given to recognize those who have been a positive force in the community and have enhanced the economic well-being of the community. Other recipients of Auburn’s award this year were Hannaford, Performance Product Painting and Thayer Corporation.
“I am honored that our company was chosen to receive this award. The success of our firm is directly attributable to the people who make it happen our sales team,” said Sharon Millett, owner of Millett Realty.
Millett is an internationally recognized real estate industry leader. She is chairwoman of the Maine Real Estate Commission, co-president of the International Consortium of Real Estate Associations; past president of the National Association of Realtors; and past chairman of the National Advisory Board of Fannie Mae.
Coldwell Banker Millett Realty is central Maine’s No. 1 selling real estate office as reported by the Maine Real Estate Information System.
