AUBURN – Members of Liberty Rebekah Lodge 94 will meet at 5:30 p.m. Monday, June 16, at the 99 Restaurant on Center Street. The last meeting before the summer recess will take place at 7 p.m. at the Odd Fellows Hall, 50 Elm St., when second nomination of officers will take place. The program will be a time of sharing individual plans for the summer.

Esther Tucker, noble grand, has extended an invitation to all Odd Fellows and Rebekahs in the state to attend a picnic at the Thorpe cottage and grounds in West Poland at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 17, weather permitting.

Art exhibit

POLAND – The public is invited to The Nettie Ricker Art Gallery at the Maine State Building, Poland Spring, for the second exhibit of the season. The show opens Tuesday, June 17, with a public reception from to 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 21. Featured this month are Dave Footer, Paul Thibodeau, Katherine Rohnert and Edwin Drake. An ongoing exhibit includes Duncan Slade, Gene Fuller, Dave Smus, Cyndi Robbins, Andrea van Voorst van Beest, and Lois Strickland.
