GREENE – New Wave Vaudeville will perform at the Sawyer Memorial at 7 p.m. Thursday, June 19, and 2 and 7 p.m. Friday, June 20.
The performance is family friendly and includes juggline, illusions and comedy with audience participation. The troupe is led by Benny and Denise Reehl of Gardiner. They were raised in upstate New York and began touring together in 1970. They moved to Maine in 1972 to study with Tony Montanaro and performed with the Celebration Mime Theatre. They present more than 200 shows annually, often joined by various artists.
