NORWAY – Western Maine Health recognized Mary Verenis of Norway for her 28 years of service as a trustee of the organization recently.

Verenis, who served her first board term in 1975, will step down from the board in June. “Mary has been very committed to serving this organization, as well as ensuring that Western Maine Health serves the needs of the community,” said Timothy A. Churchill, president and chief executive Officer of Western Maine Health.

Verenis, a former chairwoman, vice chairwoman and secretary of the Stephens Memorial Hospital Board, has also volunteered to serve on many committees.
