LEWISTON – Coastal T’s earned 2 victories in recent action in the Major Softball Division. Coastal beat Auburn Suburban’s Gee & Bee Sports 19-8 as Chantalle Lavertu gained the pitching win. Liz Obie and Carley Dennis both legged out a triple. Sarah Tanguay smacked a double. Sarah Gosselin played tough defense. . . Hannah Rodrigue and Obie combined to pitch Coastal to an 11-8 win over Caron’s Auto Body. Lyndsay Smith and Katie Kennedy clouted homers. Dennis rapped a 3-bagger. Patricia DeFosse hurled a fine game for Caron.
Patti Gagne All-State knocked off St. Hilaire Construction 17-5 in the Minor Division. Brian Doyle got the winners off to a fine start, striking out the first 3 batters he faced. Devon Beland, Jacob Sicotte and Willie Tyner all reached base 3 times, with Tyner scoring 3 runs. Other key hits came from Andrew Gosselin and Doyle.
